By : Adam Rizky Christiandava (40030519650011)
Hi! My
name is Adam, I come from Magetan city in East Java. Before becoming a student
in Vocational School of Diponegoro, I have a big dream that I want to achieve
since I entered high school. When I was in high school I always wanted to be a
doctor especially as a dentist. Yes, my dream is very high and different from what I’m now living. So this is
my story, it all started when I started hearing the term of “SNMPTN” or
entering campus through achievements or report book form our high school. I
heard this news when I was in grade 10. From there I started determined. I
didn,t know what it was like, I just wanted to be a medical student using “SNMPTN”
path because it was the easiest and cheapest route that could be taken. After 3
years of struggling , finally I could have the opportunity to become a student who
can take “SNMPTN” after the selection of 40% from all of 12th grade students.
There I felt very confused, between taking UNEJ or UNSOED dentistry, at the
beginning I had chosen UNSOED because a lot of my alumni were there. Untill finally
I decided to choose dentistry UNEJ. The time of the announcement arrived, I
didn’t believe that I wasn’t accepted. All of my struggles that are very tiring
must be vain because of the influence of high school blacklisted. So I had felt
like a failure for several weeks, until I got up and started registering in
many University like STAN and PERTAMINA. But this time I had to be patient, because that was
not my way of my life. But I never gave up, I waited for "SBMPTN" and thank God this
time I managed to get into UNS in the study program soil science in Agriculture. But for
some reason I decided to choose my reserve, namely D4 Civil and Architecture, vocational school in Undip. Even though I tried
my best. My GOD, gave me the best way to proceed by becoming a part of civil
students from a Vocational School at Diponegoro University.

Hello,
my name is Saddam Saktya Sandytia, but you guys can call me Saddam. I want to
share my experience about my memorable failure. I’m from Jepara, and now I’m 18
years old. Now, I’m studying in vocational school Diponegoro University. Before,
I was accepted at Diponegoro University, I had made various efforts to entering
the world of college. First, I followed and registered at Sebelas Maret
University and Semarang State University on SBMPTN. But, at the day of the
announcement, I was not accepted on SBMPTN. Then, I was registered at STAN. Every
day I always study and pray in order can be accepted at there. At the day of
the test, I’m very confident, on the first step I’m got away, but in the second
step I was failed. My feelings at that time were very messy. But I still trying
to get up, then I was registered at Gadjah Mada University and Diponegoro
University on mandiri test, but I still failed, and at that time I’m very
depressed because I don’t know what do I have to do. Suddenly I get information
from my father friend who told me that Diponegoro University still opening
mandiri test for vocational school. So I was registered and start to get up
again and at the day of the announcement, finally I was accepted in vocational
school Diponegoro University. So, that’s a short story of my memorable failure
to entering the world of college. Thank you. We will never let it disappear, we will continuou to remember it to motivate us going forward
